This summer, I enjoyed a two-day staycation at the Voco Seoul Gangnam Hotel with their Summer Suite Day package. The voco Seoul Gangnam is conveniently located right in front of Gangnam’s Garosu-gil and is part of the premium IHG hotel chain. The package includes one night in a Premium One King Bed room with two breakfasts included as well as a voucher for bingsu (Korean shaved ice dessert) and a voucher for a 20% discount at the restaurant.
The room was spacious and well-maintained. A particular highlight was that the minibar was free for the first use. Additionally, the room offered a great view, perfect for enjoying the night scenery, and the bathroom was spacious and clean.
The bingsu included in the package was delicious. It’s served at a Western-style restaurant called Amarillo, which offers a variety of menus that I thoroughly enjoyed.
I was also very satisfied with breakfast. The variety of food and ability to order egg dishes directly were delightful aspects.
Voco Seoul Gangnam Hotel provides various facilities such as communal kitchens and washstands, and parking is 15,000 KRW per night for guests.

3.2. Best Review 2: “Right in Front of Garosu-gil! A Review of Staying & Breakfast at Voco Seoul Gangnam”
Summary of the Blog Post
I’d like to share my stay at the Voco Seoul Gangnam hotel located right in front of Garosu-gil street. The long-awaited staycation and breakfast experience there was simply wonderful.
The voco Seoul Gangnam is part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts chain and is located right across from the entrance to Sinsa Station on Garosu-gil street which makes it extremely accessible – a location I would highly recommend even to foreign tourists.
I booked the ‘Spring Blossom’ package which included a one-night stay in a premium king bed room, two seasonal cherry blossom drinks, basic photozone shooting rights, and an option to add breakfast for two.
The room provided a cozy yet spacious environment. It was well-equipped with small hangers, an ironing board, refrigerator and more. The voco Seoul Gangnam also adopted eco-friendly interiors including wooden card keys.
For breakfast, I enjoyed a meal at the Amario restaurant in the lobby. The menu was diverse and delicious – I strongly recommend not missing out on this breakfast!
One of the reasons why I recommend this hotel for long-term guests is because of the shared kitchen on each floor. It’s very convenient as you can cook your own meals.
From its location to its services, Voco Seoul Gangnam has won my heart and I believe I will be visiting frequently in the future.
