I recently enjoyed a Seoul staycation at the Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeouido with my mom. The hotel was truly luxurious, and the Happy Hour at the Executive Lounge was a highlight. The abundant food and drinks made our time there quite enjoyable.

Summary of the Blog Post

Feeling exhausted and in need of a break, my friend and I decided to take a day off and relax at a hotel. However, choosing the right place for our staycation was not an easy task. We had to consider factors like price, location, and personal preferences, and researching multiple hotels was exhausting.

Conrad Seoul Hotel, a 5-star luxury hotel, was a perfect choice. Located near IFC Mall, The Hyundai Seoul, and Yeouido Hangang Park, it was an ideal spot for our staycation.

The hotel’s lobby exuded luxury, from its high ceilings to the grand staircase. We arrived slightly earlier than check-in time but were fortunate to check in right away. The room was impeccable, as expected from a 5-star hotel. It even had a TV in the bathroom mirror!

Our room on the 23rd floor offered a stunning view of the Han River with no tall buildings obstructing the sight. The clear weather allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view thoroughly.

One of the most surprising features was the bathroom, equipped with a TV and a separate remote control. It was a first for me! The room also provided Nespresso capsule coffee and a Dyson hairdryer, while the view from the window was breathtaking.

After resting in our room, we headed to Pulse8, Conrad Seoul’s swimming pool on the 8th floor. The pool was spacious, with a depth of around 120-130cm. Since it was a weekday, there were only a few people, allowing us to enjoy the pool without crowding.

The poolside offered a fantastic backdrop for photos, with a panoramic city view. We had a blast swimming and taking pictures while soaking in the sun.

Feeling hungry after swimming, we decided to dine at Atrio, a restaurant connected to the hotel. We had a 15,000 KRW F&B credit to spend, so we indulged ourselves with multiple menu items, including Margherita pizza and fried eggplant with a tomato sauce. Both dishes paired perfectly with beer or wine.

With the easy access to Yeouido Station and the hotel’s luxurious amenities, we didn’t have to venture outside at all during our stay. We shopped and explored until the night fell.

Back in our room, the cityscape at night was a sight to behold. We ordered room service, indulging in a delicious chocolate cake and pizza from Atrio while enjoying late-night conversations.

The following morning, we couldn’t resist trying ZEST, the breakfast buffet at Conrad Seoul. Although it wasn’t included in our package, ZEST was famous for its variety of options, including a delightful salad tree and classic breakfast items.

The buffet included bacon, sausages, hash browns, cereal, and a variety of beverages. The diverse food options pleasantly surprised us, and even though I’m not a big eater in the morning, I ended up eating more than I expected.

Lowest price search criteria: 1-night stay from Wednesday to Thursday, 1 room (for 2 guests), excluding breakfast(If breakfast is included in the accommodation conditions, the price goes up a lot).

5.1. “HotelsCombined” Price Comparison

The lowest price search result on HotelsCombined is $299 for a 1-night stay. This price is based on booking through “Booking.com”.

5.2. “Sky Scanner” Price Comparison

The lowest price on Sky Scanner is $329 for a 1-night stay when booked through “Hotels.com”, “Booking.com”, “agoda”, and “Vio.com”. All four sites were priced the same at $329.

5.3. “Trivago” Price Comparison

The lowest price on Trivago is $328 when booked through “Prestigia”.

5.4. Official Conrad Seoul(Hilton) Website

I checked the price of the “Conrad Seoul Official website” as of December 6. Surprisingly, the amount searched on the official website was $284, the lowest compared to other hotel’s lowest price search platforms!!
