2.1. Review 1 : “Enjoyable Stay at Line Friends Room, a Special Experience!”

Summary of the Blog Post

I recently enjoyed a hotel stay at Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Myeongdong. With the sweltering heat of summer, I was eager to relax in a hotel, especially one with a Line Friends room. Initially, I found the location a bit tricky to navigate, but once I checked in, I was captivated by the unique charm of the hotel.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by a Line Friends photo zone, and the lobby was bustling with Japanese tourists. The check-in process was straightforward, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although I arrived a bit late at 3 PM, the check-out time of 12 PM allowed me to enjoy a leisurely stay.

The Line Friends room was themed in two styles, and I stayed in the Brown-themed room. As soon as I entered, I was surrounded by adorable Brown characters and various illustrations. The room was clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities, and I especially loved the Hinoki bathtub and the cute Line Friends mug.

The bed was adorned with Brown cushions, and a large Brown plush toy added to the cozy atmosphere. While the bathroom was tidy, I found the absence of a towel rack slightly inconvenient. Overall, I was able to comfortably play games in the room, and the ambiance was delightful.

I did not use any other hotel facilities, but I created cherished memories while gaming in the room. The unique theme of the Line Friends room blended well with the hotel’s atmosphere, resulting in a wonderful experience. This was my first hotel stay in Myeongdong, and I would love to return in the future if the opportunity arises.

  • Location: Between Myeongdong and Seoul City Hall, somewhat tricky
  • Check-in/Check-out: Check-in at 3 PM, check-out at 12 PM
  • Room Theme: Brown-themed room
  • Features:
    • Adorable decor with Line Friends characters
    • Hinoki bathtub and basic amenities
    • Cozy atmosphere with a large Brown plush toy
  • Drawback: Lack of a towel rack in the bathroom
  • Overall Impression: Enjoyable stay in a cute Line Friends room, eager to visit again.

2.2. Review 2 : “Affordable Stay in Myeongdong, Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Myeongdong!”

Summary of the Blog Post

I recently stayed at the Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Myeongdong, with my two kids. This hotel offered great value for our stay, and its location was perfect for accessing major tourist attractions. Situated between City Hall, Euljiro Entrance, and Hoehyeon Station, it’s close to bustling areas like Namdaemun Market, making it ideal for sightseeing.

Check-in was available from 3 PM, and I was aware that parking wasn’t an option. The check-in process was straightforward, and with the assistance of the staff, I easily used the kiosk to check in. The lobby featured a large Line Friends photo zone, which was a fun spot for taking pictures with my kids.

Upon entering our room, we found the Latex Family Twin room. This type of room features a latex mattress directly on the floor, allowing for a low bed experience, which is great for families with children. The bed space was ample and comfortable, and the bedding quality was excellent. The room included a TV, coffee and tea, bottled water, disposable slippers, and a coffee pot, all prepared for three guests.

What impressed me the most was that every room was equipped with an air purifier and a humidifier. This was incredibly useful during the hot summer days. The window only opened slightly, providing a view of the neighboring building, but since we mainly used the room for sleeping, it didn’t matter much.

The bathroom was well-organized, with a sink, bathtub, shower, and toilet separated. The spacious bathtub allowed for comfortable use, especially when alternating with the kids. The bathroom amenities were thoughtfully provided, including high-quality products from Leparfla, which had a pleasant fragrance.

The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations. It offered a wide variety of Korean side dishes, catering not only to local tastes but also to foreign guests. A highlight was the DIY croffle station, which my elementary school daughter loved. Fresh fruits, various breads, and salads were available, ensuring a balanced breakfast experience.

Overall, I highly recommend Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Myeongdong for anyone looking for an affordable stay in Myeongdong. With its convenient location, comfortable facilities, and delicious breakfast, I was thoroughly satisfied and would love to return in the future!

2.3. Review 3 : ” A Comfortable Stay at Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Myeongdong!”

Summary of the Blog Post

This week, I visited Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Myeongdong with my younger sibling, who wanted to stay at a hotel. We booked this 4-star hotel located near Hoehyeon and City Hall stations, which offered convenient access to major tourist attractions. While the hotel is located in an alley, it was quiet and peaceful, providing a nice escape from the bustling streets of Myeongdong.

Check-in was available from 3 PM, and the process was straightforward. Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted by a giant Line Friends Brown plushie, which set a cheerful tone for our stay. After presenting our ID and credit card at the check-in lounge and completing some paperwork, we received our room key. The elevator had three units, minimizing wait times.

We were assigned to a Deluxe Hinoki Twin Room on the 12th floor, featuring two Simmons Beautyrest beds. The beds were incredibly comfortable, allowing for a restful night’s sleep. The room also included an LG wall-mounted TV and a closet with a bathrobe and slippers. However, the closet was designed for vertical hanging, which was slightly inconvenient.

A small desk for work was provided, along with a phone, coffee pot, water cups, and tea bags, though it was disappointing that there was no coffee machine. The fridge contained only two bottles of water, with no minibar. The bathroom was clean and featured a bidet, along with a hinoki bathtub, which was suitable for semi-bathing. However, it did leak a bit, which was a minor downside.

The bathroom had a separate sink and shower area, equipped with essential amenities. I appreciated the inclusion of makeup-removing tissues and various disposable items. The shower had a rain showerhead, and the provided body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were pleasant to use.

There was a business center on the 17th floor, but the internet connection was unreliable, forcing me to use my mobile hotspot. The fitness room on the basement level was small, containing basic exercise equipment and three treadmills.

Overall, Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Myeongdong provided a clean and friendly environment with excellent service and a fantastic location. The cost of around 60,000 won per night on weekdays offered great value. The only downside was the soundproofing, as I could hear some noise from the bathroom above me, but it wasn’t too disruptive during my stay. Considering the cleanliness, service, location, and quality of the room, I would definitely like to return to this hotel. If you’re looking for an affordable and quality hotel in Myeongdong, I highly recommend Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Myeongdong!
