“It feels like I’ve found Jeju Island in Hongdae ๐ฅน This place is a gem for Samgyeopsal (pork belly) in Hongdae. Samgyeopsal, Moksal (neck meat), and Galmaegisal (skirt meat) are all delicious, and their Doenjang Jjigae (soybean paste stew) is top-notch ๐๐ป๐๐ป There’s usually a wait, so make sure to reserve your table in advance!!!! I recommend the Han-don mixed set!!”
“Although the turnover rate was fast and we didn’t have to wait long, I can see why there’s always a line. Every time I passed by, I would see people waiting outside the restaurant and think ‘I should go there sometime.’ Finally went and it was worth itใ ใ The juicy Moksal and chewy Samgyeopsal were both so delicious~ The staple of any Korean BBQ place, Doenjang Jjigae, as well as Cheese Gyeranjjim (steamed eggs), were amazing!!! “This place serves the best Gamjatang in the Hongdae area! The kimchi is spicy, but I keep craving it. I enjoyed the slightly spicy yet savory Gamjatang, as they allow you to adjust the spiciness. “I’m surprised this gem hasn’t been featured in Michelin yet ๐ญ. I was heading to a Japanese ramen place but ended up taking a wrong turn and found this place that feels like a unique Korean set meal restaurant and bar. It’s the best wrong turn I’ve made this year โ๏ธ. The pot rice is filled with various vegetables, they even give you butter to mix in the rice, and the stir-fried pork is flavorful without being too salty. You can tell each side dish has been carefully prepared ๐.”
