2.1. Review 1 : “A clean and conveniently located hotel, a satisfying stay at Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2”

Summary of the Blog Post

The reasons for choosing this hotel were its convenient location near a subway transfer station, making it easy for my friend coming from the provinces and me coming from Gyeonggi Province. Additionally, it is within walking distance to major attractions like Myeongdong Cathedral and the night market, and I expected it to be a reasonably priced, clean hotel.

The hotel is a 4-star establishment, costing around 300,000 KRW per night, and splitting the cost with my friend, it was about 150,000 KRW per person. Upon check-in, there was a self check-in/out machine, but it did not work properly, so we checked in with the help of the staff. The hotel staffโ€™s uniforms were neat, giving a sense of trust. The check-in desk had information regarding breakfast congestion and the discontinuation of complimentary single-use amenities.

The room was a twin room, but the twin beds were pushed together. The room was overall clean and had a toned-down atmosphere, with a temperature control panel, bathrobes, a safe, and slippers neatly arranged. The bed was spacious enough for four women to lie down, and there were cards explaining how to request linen changes.

The bathroom had a shower booth, with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided next to the sink. There was also body lotion and a hairdryer. The amenities had a pleasant scent, but toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided.

Each floor had a refresh zone where guests could freely use ice, water, a microwave, and a dryer. The lobby provided information on airport bus schedules, stops, and prices, which was convenient for airport users.

Overall, Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2 was great due to its proximity to subway stations and attractions, and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The late checkout option was perfect for someone like me who enjoys sleeping in. I would consider visiting again for another staycation in Myeongdong.

2.2. Review 2 : “Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2, impressive for its convenient location and various amenities.”

Summary of the Blog Post

My stay at Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2 was overall satisfactory. I stayed for two days at this 4-star hotel, which is a grade higher than other Nine Tree hotels in Myeongdong. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk from Euljiro 3-ga Station Exit 11, making public transportation easy to use.

Upon check-in at the front desk on the first floor, there was a special service allowing guests to choose their pillows. The room was located on the 15th floor, and each floor had a water purifier, microwave, and steam iron, which were very convenient. The first room I stayed in was the Namsan Hollywood Double Room, which had two single beds pushed together. However, the middle seam was somewhat uncomfortable.

Due to a drainage issue in the shower booth, I requested a room change the next day to the Namsan Panoramic Double Room. This room had a queen-sized bed and more space, including a bathtub. Each floor allowed different pillow choices, so on the first day, I used a “knockout pillow,” and on the second day, I tried the hinoki and buckwheat pillows, which were more comfortable.

The 18th floor had a rooftop garden and a fitness room, but the rooftop garden was closed, and the fitness room was very small. The golf & fitness area in the basement was not for hotel guests.

The hotel’s self-locker zone was convenient to use, and the GS convenience store on the first floor was always well-stocked. Overall, Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2 was satisfactory in terms of location and amenities, although there were a few inconveniences. If I have another opportunity to stay in Myeongdong, I would like to try different hotels.

2.3. Review 3 : “Excellent Namsan View and Comfortable Stay at a Reasonable Price”

Summary of the Blog Post

This hotel offers a Namsan view sky double room at a relatively affordable price.

I discovered Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2 while planning a solo staycation in Seoul. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Exit 9 of Chungmuro Station. Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 12 PM, allowing for a relaxed stay. They also offer luggage storage, which is convenient for tourists.

My room was on the 17th floor, offering a Namsan view from the sky double room. The bed faces the window, allowing for a unique experience of falling asleep while looking at Namsan. The room also has a sofa and a table, providing ample workspace. The bathroom is well-equipped with amenities and a bathtub.

Nearby, there is a restaurant called Oldies Taco, just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. Itโ€™s a great place to enjoy delicious tacos without waiting in line on weekends. Myeongdong Street is also a 15-minute walk away, making it perfect for a leisurely evening stroll, with sights like Myeongdong Cathedral.

Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM and costs 25,000 KRW per adult. If you reserve the day before, you can get a 3,000 KRW discount. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of selections, including salads, bread, rice, soup, and more. The duck salad was particularly delicious.

Overall, Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2 offers great value for money with its affordable price and Namsan view, making it a satisfying choice for a staycation in Seoul.
