“Mangrove Dongdaemun” is a co-living accommodation located in the heart of Dongdaemun. Co-living is a new residential model where you share a residential building with others, with a clear distinction between personal and shared spaces. This allows you to thoroughly use your personal space while enjoying the fun and economic benefits of living together. Moreover, you can stay flexibly for as long as you want, and the professional management of the space eliminates the difficulties of living alone.
“Mangrove Dongdaemun” is within walking distance of major tourist attractions such as Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), Cheonggyecheon, and Dongdaemun Market. Also, this accommodation is equipped with modern facilities and provides clean and comfortable rooms. Here, you can stay flexibly from a minimum of one day to a maximum of one year, depending on your personal situation. However, the minimum stay may vary by location, so please refer to each location page.
“Mangrove Dongdaemun” assists in moving in through space tours and consultations. You can apply for a tour through the ‘BOOK’ button at the top of the homepage. Summary of the Blog Post
‘Mangrove Dongdaemun’, located just a 3-minute walk from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, is a guest house that I’m delighted to review. It was easy to find due to its clean exterior and excellent location, and the surroundings were safe enough to walk around at night.
The accommodation options included single rooms, double rooms, and 6-person dormitories for both men and women, and I chose to stay in a 6-person dormitory. The check-in process was quick and simple, and a QR code allowed us access to the elevator and various doors.
The dormitory was clean and comfortable. The sturdy beds, spacious shelves for personal belongings, and a socket and bulb at the head of the bed were very useful. In the personal wardrobe, there were large towels, small towels, guidebooks, and two bottles of water.
The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. There were several spaces equipped with sinks, shower facilities, and toilets, which was convenient. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided, but toothpaste and toothbrushes were not.
The guest house also had various shared facilities that were very satisfying. In the basement, there were flex rooms, relax rooms, and a cinema, and on the 15th floor, there was a canteen where we could cook or eat delivered food. The view from the canteen was particularly satisfying.
However, the lack of toothpaste, toothbrushes, and foam cleansing was a bit inconvenient, and the external noise was audible, causing some discomfort. Despite these, I was overall very satisfied and would like to visit again.
To conclude Mangrove Dongdaemun review, I recommend this accommodation for solo or duo travelers.
