I recently booked Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong for my friend’s bridal shower. The hotel is located at 362 Samil-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul, just a 3-minute walk from Exit 1 of Euljiro 3-ga Station, making it very accessible.
The self-check-in/check-out system was very convenient. On the first floor, there is an Angel-in-us and a 24-hour 7-Eleven, which was handy for any needs at any time. The lobby is on the second floor, the fitness center and coin laundry are on the third floor, and the guest rooms are from the 5th to the 26th floors.
I was assigned room 2220, which was an upgraded Superior Family Twin Room. The room was spacious for a business hotel, with plenty of space to move around even with an open suitcase. However, the hotel interior was somewhat dark, which was a bit disappointing.
There was a TV and a fridge opposite the bed, and welcome tea and water were provided for free. Bathrobes and slippers were also available, and the bathroom was very spacious with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The sink area had hand wash and hand cream, and the bathtub had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a shower ball. However, guests need to bring their own toothbrush and toothpaste.
The view from the 22nd floor was quite nice, overlooking the Euljiro area. Although there were many good restaurants around, we decided to order delivery due to the heat. We had spicy rice cakes, honey combo chicken, and Yoajeong, which was delicious.
The hotel’s great location made it very convenient, and I had a wonderful time with my friends. Well, that’s it from Chilchil!

It rained heavily on the check-in day, and we were able to borrow umbrellas from the hotel. The next morning, my parents went for breakfast while I used the gym. The gym was small but had enough equipment, and it was nice to use it alone. Before checking out, I took a walk with my parents and had a pleasant time.
