Today, I want to share my experience of a one-night getaway at L7 Hongdae with a friend. We had previously visited in 2022, so I was excited to return. I booked the room for 200,000 won by comparing prices on Naver two months in advance.
The biggest advantage of L7 Hongdae is its excellent location, just a 2-minute walk from Hongdae Station exit 1. Check-in is on the 21st floor, where you can use a kiosk for self-check-in, and staff are available to assist, minimizing wait times. Thereโs also a luggage storage service, which was convenient after checking out.
We were assigned to the 8th floor, and the room was still very comfortable. There was space to place luggage, a coat rack, a full-length mirror, and two bathrobes. The twin beds were soft and clean, and having an air purifier next to the bed was a big plus, especially in a hotel with no windows.
The room also had a mini fridge and welcome snacks, and the spacious desk was great for working. The bathroom featured a bidet and a separate shower area, ensuring privacy. The amenities were all from Malin+Goetz, and I loved the scent of the handwash.
Although we had a view of the Hongdae street, we enjoyed a very comfortable stay. For checkout, we could use a designated drop-off for our room cards, allowing us to avoid going back to the 21st floor, which was convenient.
