Summary of the Blog Post
I stayed at InterContinental Seoul COEX with my friend. We had to wait and get a queue number before checking in, but luckily we were able to check in earlier than expected.
Our room was a Classic Temple View room with a window overlooking Bongeunsa Temple. InterContinental Seoul COEX is part of the IHG hotel group and offers luxurious 5-star service and facilities. The room was spacious, the bathroom was large, and all the necessary amenities were provided.
InterContinental hotels are known for their generous room sizes even for standard rooms. We celebrated a special occasion with a mini cake and gifts prepared by the hotel staff, and we enjoyed our stay without going out much.

Summary of the Blog Post
I enjoyed a staycation at InterContinental Seoul COEX in the early summer. Although it was a Sunday stay, I was able to use it for about KRW 250,000 with club lounge benefits and Starbucks gift cards which was very satisfying. I reserved a club room and checked in at the club lounge on the second floor where early check-in was also available. The room was a basic one but I got assigned to a high-floor Bongeunsa view which had great views.
The club lounge offered afternoon tea, happy hour and breakfast service where various bakeries and desserts were served for afternoon tea and diverse hot foods including LA ribs were provided for happy hour.
Despite its old age feel both in the room and bathroom which were spacious enough for convenient use though they felt somewhat old-fashioned.
Thanks to the kindness of the staff and professional service I had an enjoyable staycation.
