2.1. Review 1 : “Review of ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan: A Great Value Hotel”
Summary of the Blog Post
Recently, I had the opportunity to stay at Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan while visiting Seoul through Accor’s Stay Plus program. Although I had previously stayed at the Novotel in the same building, this was my first experience with Ibis. While it is a lower-tier brand within the Accor group, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality of the hotel.
The hotel is conveniently located near Yongsan Station, directly accessible from the electronics market exit. However, due to the large scale of the I’Park Mall at Yongsan Station, itโs important to choose the correct exitโmake sure to use exit 3. The price for a stay is relatively reasonable, ranging from 170,000 to 180,000 KRW during weekdays and around 200,000 KRW on weekends, which is quite competitive given the high hotel rates in Seoul these days.
Though the hotel is not brand new, it is well-maintained and offers a clean and pleasant atmosphere. The building houses multiple Accor brands, including Novotel, Mercure, and Ibis Styles, providing guests with various options. Itโs essential to note that the check-in counters are separate for each brand, so be attentive when checking in.
I was assigned a Superior Room on the 29th floor, which was quiet and had an excellent view. The room was clean and well-maintained, with the bathroom and shower separate, adding to the convenience. The sink is located outside the bathroom area, which is a nice touch for usability. The layout reminded me of the Marriott Fairfield, but I found the Ibis Styles to be more comfortable overall.
The room amenities included large-sized toiletries that smelled nice. Unlike many hotels, Ibis Styles offers a self-service toothbrush set at the check-in counter for a small donation. Additionally, the room had an electric kettle and a small selection of tea bags for a quick brew. There was a mini-fridge stocked with two complimentary bottles of water.
Although the hotel does not have a swimming pool, it features a gym and offers sauna access for guests at a reasonable price of 10,000 KRW. The view from the room overlooking the Han River was particularly stunning, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the city skyline at night. The TV in the room has Chromecast capabilities, allowing easy access to personal streaming services.
The bed was spacious and comfortable, ensuring a restful nightโs sleep. Amidst the summer heat, this hotel provided a much-needed escape. I highly recommend Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan for anyone looking for a clean, budget-friendly hotel close to popular attractions like I’Park Mall and Yongridang Street.

2.2. Review 2 : “ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan: A Great Value Choice for Your Stay”
Summary of the Blog Post
Recently, I had the opportunity to stay at Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan with my friend Bolbol for a 1-night, 2-day trip. Although this hotel does not have a swimming pool like the Novotel Suites or Novotel Ambassador, it offers a more affordable price and clean rooms, making it an excellent choice for winter stays or short itineraries. The hotel is conveniently located near the Seoul Arts Center and the National Museum of Korea, which made it perfect for our plan to enjoy a musical and visit the museum.
The hotel is connected to Yongsan Station, providing excellent accessibility. On the 6th floor, there is a Kids & Hobby Shop and Popcorn D Square, which is great for fans of various hobbies. Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at noon, giving us plenty of time to enjoy our stay.
We booked a Superior Twin Room, which is 27mยฒ. While the room size is not large, the layout is efficient, with the wardrobe, sink, and bathroom arranged well, so it didnโt feel cramped. The view from our room looked out onto Yongsan Station, which would have delighted Bolbol, who loves trains, although I suspect he would have been more focused on his phone than the scenery.
Inside the room, the sink, refrigerator, and safe were all neatly stored in a counter next to the beds. However, I noticed that the slippers provided were reusable, which made me uncomfortable since I’m sensitive about hygiene. I regretted not bringing my foldable slippers from home.
During our stay, the Dragon City area was busy on weekends, making it challenging to use the elevators. From past experience, summer weekends at the pool can feel overcrowded, so I plan to avoid weekends if I stay at Dragon City again.
Breakfast is served at Kings’ Vacation on the 31st floor of Sky Kingdom, from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Although the breakfast area is smaller than those in many hotels, the atmosphere was lovely. I initially expected fewer options and lower quality compared to the Novotel Food Exchange, but I was pleasantly surprised. The selection included various delicious breads, cereals, yogurt, and salads, along with warm egg dishes, fried rice, tofu, hash browns, sausages, and even a small Korean corner with bulgogi.
Notably, there is also a noodle station where you can enjoy freshly made pho, which I highly recommend. In comparison to last yearโs experience at another hotel where the breakfast was lackluster, the breakfast at Ibis Styles Yongsan was satisfactory in both taste and variety, and the view from the dining area was beautiful. I would definitely consider returning for breakfast in the future. Next time, Iโm eager to try the breakfast offerings at Novotel or Novotel Suites to compare them.

2.3. Review 3 : “A Satisfying Stay at ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan with Good Value for Money”
Summary of the Blog Post
I’ll summarize my one-night stay at Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan. Located near Yongsan Station, this 4-star business hotel is part of the Seoul Dragon City complex, which includes several hotels, creating a grand atmosphere suitable for both business and leisure travelers.
My visit took place on Sunday, September 25, and I took advantage of a midweek junior suite upgrade package from Prism for a very affordable price of 80,000 won. I arrived at check-in time but was unable to check in early, so I had a short wait before being assigned my room. I had requested an air purifier and a high-floor room in advance, both of which were provided, and I was placed on the 23rd floor.
The room itself was clean and spacious, which is commendable for a business hotel. However, the absence of a bathtub and the provision of small-sized amenities were disappointing. The bathroom’s open design made privacy a concern, and I noticed some hair on the bed, indicating a need for improvement in housekeeping.
The fitness center was relatively spacious, but I encountered an inconvenience as I needed a separate key card to access it, requiring a trip back to the front desk after check-in. Additionally, the service from the staff left something to be desired. There were only two staff members at check-in, and they provided limited information about the fitness center and other facilities, suggesting a need for better training.
Regarding food and beverage options, the value for money was impressive, with frequent discounts and promotions that enhanced the overall experience. Overall, while there were some shortcomings, I found Ibis Yongsan to be a satisfying hotel considering its affordability. I look forward to trying out more hotels and sharing my experiences in the future.
