2.1. Review 1 : ” A Satisfying 27-Hour Staycation at Fairfield by Marriott Seoul”

Summary of the Blog Post

My 27-hour staycation at Fairfield by Marriott Seoul was truly satisfying. This hotel, conveniently located near Yeongdeungpo Station, allowed me to relax comfortably over the weekend with its well-equipped amenities. Check-in was at 12 PM and check-out at 3 PM, giving me ample time to enjoy the stay.

The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Yeongdeungpo Station and close to Lotte Department Store and Times Square, making shopping and dining easy. The lobby, while not large, was clean and organized, with a computer for quick searches and a cozy seating area. Additionally, the hotel has partnerships with nearby restaurants that offer discounts for guests.

The elevator system was unique, as it did not have floor buttons inside; instead, it operates automatically when you scan your room key. Upon reaching my room, 1033, I found a Premier King room with an interesting layout where the sink was outside the bathroom, and the shower and toilet were separated. This design provided a sense of openness that felt less confining. The bedroom was cozy, featuring a sofa and a small table, perfect for relaxation.

The bed was comfortable, and the TV offered various streaming options, including Netflix and Disney+. The city view was not particularly impressive, but the quiet room allowed for a restful night’s sleep. The hotel also had a fitness center on the 5th floor, equipped with various exercise machines, a vending machine for essentials, and an ice refrigerator for refreshing drinks.

The surrounding area had a vibrant commercial district, with plenty of dining options, and a 7-Eleven right below for convenience. Although I didn’t opt for breakfast, the overall atmosphere and facilities made me eager to return.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Fairfield by Marriott Seoul for travelers using KTX or anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Seoul. With its great accessibility and excellent facilities, this hotel promises a satisfying experience.

2.2. Review 2 : “Recommended Affordable Staycation at Fairfield by Marriott Seoul”

Summary of the Blog Post

I had a truly satisfying staycation at Fairfield by Marriott Seoul, located in Yeongdeungpo. This hotel was a convenient choice as it is just a 3-minute walk from Yeongdeungpo Station, making it perfect for my last day in Seoul before heading to Southeast Asia. I would like to share my experience.

Fairfield by Marriott Seoul is known for being an affordable hotel option in Seoul, and the lobby was bustling with both local and foreign tourists. This hotel is the first Fairfield brand hotel in Korea and boasts the largest size in the world. Its location near Yeongdeungpo Station provides easy access to shopping at Lotte Department Store, Shinsegae Department Store, and Times Square.

I booked a Premier King room, which is about 7.5 pyeong (approximately 24.8 m²). Upon entering the room, I noticed that the sink was conveniently placed in the main area, while the shower and toilet were to the left. The bed was very comfortable, typical of the Marriott brand, although the room was small, leaving limited space for movement. However, since I had planned many activities outside, it wasn’t much of an inconvenience.

During check-in, I was able to request a quieter room, and I received a room with a view of Gyeongin Road instead of the city view. While there was some noise from passing cars, it wasn’t bothersome enough to affect my stay. The room was equipped with a safe, two bottles of water, and coffee and tea supplies. The mini-fridge was handy for storing drinks purchased from the convenience store located right below the hotel.

The bathroom had the sink in the main area, and the shower and toilet were in the same space, which could be a bit awkward. Nevertheless, the bathroom was in good condition, and the rain shower worked well. The 27-hour stay package allowed me to check out at 3 PM, which was very convenient.

Overall, this hotel is perfectly situated near various dining and shopping options and is only a 3-minute walk from Yeongdeungpo Station and bus stops. If you’re looking for an affordable staycation in Seoul, I highly recommend Fairfield by Marriott Seoul.

2.3. Review 3 : “Pros and Cons of My Staycation at Fairfield by Marriott Seoul”

Summary of the Blog Post

Recently, I enjoyed a 2-night staycation at Fairfield by Marriott Seoul located in Yeongdeungpo. This hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Yeongdeungpo Station, making it easy to explore the area. I want to share my experience and insights regarding the hotel and breakfast options.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was fairly quick despite the busy front desk. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a breakfast coupon, which enhanced my stay. I had originally booked a guest room but was upgraded to a Deluxe Room, which was a nice touch. The Deluxe Room was slightly larger than the standard guest room, with a similar layout.

We were assigned a room on the 20th floor with a mix of railway and city views. While there was some noise from passing trains, it was not overly disruptive. However, I would recommend this hotel to those who are not sensitive to noise. The room featured a safe, complimentary water bottles, and a coffee maker, and the shower had shampoo and body wash available. One downside was that the bathroom lacked a door, which could be awkward for some guests.

The room had a small sofa and table, providing a comfortable spot to relax, and the bed was incredibly cozy, typical of the Marriott brand. The temperature control was easy to manage, and there were enough electrical outlets for our devices.

On the first floor, there is a Starbucks, which allowed us to grab coffee and sandwiches instead of having breakfast. We also visited the restaurant “Million Spoon” for breakfast. Breakfast hours are from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with an adult price of 19,600 KRW, but with a discount for guests, it was only 14,900 KRW. While the selection was limited, it was satisfactory, and my child enjoyed the seaweed soup with rice.

In summary, Fairfield by Marriott Seoul is an excellent choice for a staycation, offering great value for money with its location and amenities. The proximity to various dining and shopping options makes it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. I would certainly consider returning during my next visit to Seoul.
