Andaz, a luxury brand of Hyatt, first opened in London and Korea is the fourth in Asia to open such a brand. The exterior of the hotel exudes a modern, urban vibe, and though the interior is modest, it gives off a sophisticated atmosphere.

The ‘King Bed Deluxe Room’, where we stayed, was surprisingly spacious with ample storage spaces, making it convenient for those planning a long stay. Also, the room featured a large bathtub, and the shower space and toilet were separated, which was very convenient. Most of the drinks and snacks in the minibar were offered for free, which further enhanced the comfort of our stay.

The breakfast had a variety of menus, and each dish was prepared with care. The servers were friendly, and the quality of the food and coffee was excellent.

However, the location of Andaz Seoul Gangnam in Apgujeong may not be suitable as a lodging for sightseeing. And it was a bit disappointing that the soundproofing was not effective, with the noise from the road traffic audible. But apart from that, we were very satisfied and would like to visit this hotel again.
